08/1939 Requisitioned operated as a ABV she was also based at Kirkwall on Contraband Duties
30/10/1939 At 23.35 hours grid ref AN 1313 she was hit by one torpedo from U59 and sank about 100 miles west of Sumburgh Head, Shetland Islands. The commander, three officers and 23 ratings were lost.
05/11/1939 She was reported overdue at Kirkwall Believed to have sunk off Kirkwall
