27/07/1978 Sold to the Huxley Fishing Co Ltd Lowestoft
Although the Spurs was given the fishing number LT 303 she was never actually used for fishing by the Colne Group 
22/07/1978 Arrived at Lowestoft where she was laid up shortly afterwards
03/1980 Converted for oil rig support duties after a 20-month period of being laid up 
14/06/1991 Sold for scrap to Spearing International 
12/07/1991 The Spurs sailed for the breakers yard on the Thames
