10/08/1939 requisitioned as a A/S Trawler
As the Thornwick Bay she took part in the following Convoys during WW2 as an Escort
SL/MKS 147MK 02/1944 , Rendezvous SL147 with MKS 38 – Liverpool
1946 Returned to Owners Registered as H 241
18/05/1951 Went to St. Andrews Steam Fishing Co Hull
07/03/1952 Went to Trawlers Grimsby GY 250
1953 Went to Derwent Trawlers Grimsby
1955 went to Dennis Roberts Fishing Renamed Afridi
