14/02/1948 My Grandfather First signed on as a deck hand until 12/03/1948 to gain Deep Sea Fishing experience. 
22/03/1948 The 2nd trip was again as deck hand to 17/07/1948
16/08/1948 Next trip he signs on as Mate until 10/09/1948
25/01/1949 Deck hand until 21/03/1949. 
15/10/1949 Signs on as 3rd mate until 23/10/1949.
24/10/1949 On his last trip on the Pataudi, The skipper unfortunately died and being the only person on board with a valid skippers ticket was asked by the owners to take charge for the remainder of the trip which ended on 28/12/1949

12/04/1938 Renamed Wolves 
Writing to the Secretary of Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club Sir John Marsden explained that the company had “recently renamed one of our trawlers after your club namely Wolves, Usually we paint a replica of the clubs crest and colours on the bows” He went on to ask for a copy of the club crest in order that this may be done.
20/04/1942 Crampins bought the trawler which was still in Navy service 
04/1947 The Bunch Steam Fishing Company bought the Wolves 
06/1947 The vessel was renamed Pataudi
