A skeleton crew of seven men, deckhands and firemen arrived in Grimsby from Palestine to take the Fotherby to her new owners
To be renamed Miriam and used mainly for fishing for bream off the coasts of Morocco and Greece
The vessel was the first steam trawler to be bought by the company and also the largest to be bought for fishing in the East
1953 The vessel was sold to new owners in Poland who gave her the new name of Pollux
